COVID Vaccines Can Cut Post-Infection Heart Failure, Blood Clot Risk

A study across three European countries involving over 20 million people found that COVID-19 vaccination significantly lowers the risk of heart failure by up to 55% and blood clots by up to 78% post-infection. The study analyzed data from recipients of various vaccines and emphasized that the benefits are most pronounced within 30 days post-vaccination but can last up to a year.

Medical experts stress that the risks of COVID-19 complications outweigh any potential vaccine side effects. The findings support the CDC's recommendation for updated vaccines for adults aged 65 and above, with recent data showing a 54% effectiveness in preventing symptomatic infections among adults.
