Nestlé Adds Sugar to Infant Milk Sold in Poorer Countries, Report Finds

Nestlé, the world’s leading consumer goods company, faces scrutiny for its inclusion of sugar and honey in infant milk and cereal products distributed in many developing nations, contrary to global health guidelines aimed at curbing obesity and chronic illnesses. According to WHO data, Africa has witnessed a 23% surge in overweight children under five since 2000, contributing to the global burden of over 1 billion individuals affected by obesity.
