The National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing and Media (NCHCMM) is the nation’s premier conference focused on advancing the science and practice of public health communication.  Co-hosted by the National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) and the Public Health Communication Collaborative (PHCC), it brings together professionals from government, academia, and industry to share research, innovative campaigns, and emerging trends in health communication.

The 2025 National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media (NCHCMM) convened public health communicators from across the country for three days of learning, collaboration, and professional connection.

Held on a biennial schedule, NCHCMM brings together professionals from federal, state, and local health departments; nonprofit organizations; academia; and the private sector to strengthen the practice of public health communication and advance the field nationally.

The 2025 conference focused on equipping communicators with practical tools, evidence-informed strategies, and peer-tested approaches to navigate an increasingly complex communication environment.

2025 Conference Highlights

The 2025 program explored critical issues shaping public health communication, including:

  • 500+ public health communicator attendees both domestic and international
  • Keynote from YouTube Health leader Dr. Garth Graham
  • Session on AI, vaccine communication and digital storytelling
  • New day-pass option to expand local participation
