CDC Says Long COVID Rare Among Children

New data from the CDC has shed light on the rate at which long COVID affects children, indicating the condition occurs among only a small minority of them. A new survey found that 1.3 percent of children had long COVID in 2022 and 0.5 percent now have it.

Hispanic children were more than twice as likely to say they had long COVID compared with Black and Asian children, with 1.9 percent having experienced the condition at some point.
