Upcoming Webinar: Connecting the Value of Public Health to Civic Participation

Public health communicators are invited to an upcoming webinar offered by PHCC that can help communities understand how civic participation connects to the programs, services, and initiatives that shape health, called “Connecting the Value of Public Health to Civic Participation.”

 

On October 1 at 11:30 am EST, leaders from across the civic health movement will discuss strategies for building trust through long-term community engagement and clearer communication about the role of government in everyday life.

The webinar will explore civic participation as a social determinant of health and introduce practical narrative frameworks for connecting government programs with civic engagement. Presentations will include data and personal experiences, followed by a Q&A focused on community engagement, public health messaging, and healthier community outcomes. Register here.
