Trump Establishes New Federal Offices to Advance Women’s Health Research

President Donald Trump signed an executive order establishing a Women’s Health Division at the National Institutes of Health and a White House Women’s Health Task Force to strengthen research into women’s health across the lifespan.

The initiative targets understudied conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility, maternal health and menopause. The task force will be led by White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The order follows earlier funding uncertainty for women’s health research programs, including the Women’s Health Initiative. Learn more from The Hill here.
