Radon Awareness Week is Jan. 22-26: Comms Resources
January 22-26 is Radon Awareness Week. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer deaths in the U.S. after cigarette smoke. CDC’s theme for this year is “What’s Your Radon Story?” Each day of the week, CDC will share facts about radon, social media messages, and a radon story.
Join CDC for a webinar on January 22 from 2-3 p.m. ET to learn about federal, state, and local initiatives to reduce radon in multi-family housing and communities with lower access to resources. Register here to attend the free webinar.
